INTRODUCTION
In order to determine the waste producer's obligations and therefore responsibilities in the strict sense of the term, we first need to outline the legal framework for determining which specific wastes have been captured and how. Secondly, it will be easier to identify the obligations with which the waste producer must comply. The more hazardous the waste in question, the more stringent the obligations.
