AUTHOR

 INTRODUCTION

This article is the third in a series of three dealing with the rehabilitation of landfill sites. It follows on from presentation of general mechanisms and of site diagnostics and presents the main techniques for rehabilitation work.

These articles sometimes refer to a series of specialized works, to which the authors have contributed, listed at [Doc. G 2 684] and largely taken from ADEME (Agence De l'Environnement et de la Maîtrise de l'Énergie) publications, notably the "Réhabilitation des décharges version 2005" guide.

Cost concepts are presented, with reference to 2004 market prices.
