2. Environment and ICT: what are we talking about?
In the first part of this article, we discussed the main environmental impacts of ICT services. In the second part of the article, we'll look in a little more detail at the nature of these impacts, so as to be able to present possible solutions.
This analysis will be based on a breakdown according to the three main stages of the life cycle:
equipment design and production;
use of equipment and services;
end of life.
