4. Conclusion
Company travel plans have been in existence in France and Europe for several years now. Although few companies still have them, the problems associated with employee travel are becoming increasingly important. Designed to optimize and improve employee mobility, MPs play a full part in a company's sustainable development policy in all its dimensions (environmental, social and economic). Local authorities and employees themselves also benefit from this tool. Against a backdrop of rising fossil fuel prices and a steady deterioration in air quality, MPs have a promising future ahead of them, especially as the concept, initially limited to large companies, is now finding a new lease of life with inter-company travel plans enabling smaller companies to join the dynamic.
