2. From natural regeneration to industrial regeneration

One of the aims of the circular economy is to annihilate the notion of waste through closed loops in the technical field. Waste is a human concept. Indeed, waste is an element that can no longer be used and is stored or burned. In nature, waste is not stored, whether it's a carcass, animal excrement or dead leaves. It serves as food for certain living creatures. Finally, each element is transformed to contribute to the balance of the natural sphere through loops. This is why, in this section, we propose to study nature, and more specifically trophic organization (i.e. the set of relationships existing between the various ecological categories of living beings: producers, consumers, decomposers), in order to apply its behavior to the technical sphere.
