3. District cooling network (DCN) concept
The district cooling network (DCN) is a concept in which cold is produced centrally, in production plants from which the cold is distributed to the various consumers, in the form of chilled water (5/6°C) circulating in a network of pipes. Cold networks replace individual or collective central systems (for a building) (figure 1 ).
