The project brought together conventional, organic and biodynamic winegrowers from Westhalten (WES, France), Dambach-La-Ville (DLV, France), Tüllinger Berg (TUL, Germany) and Muttenz (MUT, Switzerland). Also involved were nature conservation NGOs (WES, DLV, TUL), members of environmental protection institutes (TUL), water agency or viticulture-agronomy advisors (WES, DLV, TUL, MUT), and agricultural and viticultural training professionals (WES, TUL, MUT). On the scientific side, researchers in education and training science, epistemology, agronomy-biometry, molecular vine physiology, weed science and soil microbiology were gradually mobilized as questions were reformulated and projects developed.
