Penetrant testing offers great flexibility in adapting to the different shapes and sizes of the parts to be inspected.
The ISO 3452-4 standard provides valuable recommendations on equipment for implementing the method. It is best to remedy certain design errors that may affect the sensitivity and the probability of detecting (POD) of indications.
