2. Theoretical aspects of the method
Magnetic particle testing involves complex magnetic phenomena which, to be properly presented, would require explanations that go beyond the somewhat simplified presentation given in this chapter. The aim of this presentation is to give readers a clear understanding of the important aspects of the magnetic particle testing method, without entering into abstract theoretical demonstrations that are too far removed from the method itself.
