2. Signals associated with scanning

The signals presented here are those used to control an ACC plasma screen, the most widespread technology, with ADS scanning, also the most widespread.

2.1 Reminder of the structure of an ACC panel

The structure of this panel is shown in figure 2 . A distinction is made between :

  • the network of S 1 ... S m electrodes called scan electrodes because they receive the line selection signals during the addressing phase (phase called scanning in English);

  • the C 1 ... Cm electrode...
