4.1 Improving CAN characteristics
In the case of the ADCs, better synchronization of their reference frequency with the mains frequency has resulted in greater conversion stability (very good common-mode rejection).
In addition, ADCs with an absolute linearity of less than 0.1 p.p.m. are used, enabling measurements to be made to 8 significant digits (voltmeters with 8 1/2 digits or 200 million points).
The ability to parameterize the CAN configuration has enabled us to optimize its operation by adopting a compromise between the desired resolution and acquisition speed.
