Reynolds (Reynolds number); Reynolds

The Reynolds number is a dimensionless number used in fluid mechanics. It is used to check the range of use of flowmeters according to their principle. It is also used to calculate pressure drops.

Viscosity refers to the resistance to movement of a fluid during flow. When a fluid's viscosity decreases, its fluidity increases.

Tightness of agreement between a measured value and a true value of a measurand.
