3. Flowmeters for closed pipes

The widest range of instruments is available for closed conduits. The physical selection criteria can be examined in the following order.

3.1 Fluid type

The instruments listed in table 1 can be used according to the services (type of fluid) indicated at the top of the column. The presence of a "(1)" indicates that the flowmeter can only be used within certain limits .
