 INTRODUCTION

Summary

This innovation is a new concept in load cells, enabling the creation of weighing devices that are particularly well suited to dynamic weighing, but also capable of meeting the needs of static weighing of large-volume objects. A load cell is made from a steel beam. Depending on the application, the beam is either used directly as a load receptor, or as a large-scale load cell within a weighing system.

Abstract

This innovation is a new force sensor concept. This new force sensor favors the creation of devices for weighing, particularly adapted to dynamic weighing and also suited to static weighing for large volume objects. A sensor is made with a steel beam. Depending on the requested application, the beam receives directly the load or is inserted into a weighing device as a very long force sensor.
