4. Study the stability of a hybrid dynamic system using Lyapunov theory

While in some cases we can study the stability and attractiveness of a hybrid system by directly examining its solutions and their explicit expressions as a function of time, this is generally not possible in the case of nonlinear systems, for which no explicit expression of the solutions can be determined.
