1. Definition

1.1 The corrector

Without using any appreciable energy, the corrector is the "intelligent" part of the control system, and its judicious determination gives the control system its qualities. Easy to modify, the corrector can be fitted with an automatic variation of its parameters according to the operating range of the process, in the case of slow process evolution.
