7. Conclusion

Based on real-life examples, the implementation of a quality approach in a public research laboratory, up to and including certification, according to the NF EN ISO 9001:2015 This article describes how to set up a suitable, high-performance operation.

Developments in the NF EN ISO 9001:2015 should enable more public research laboratories to opt for certification.

In fact, the notion of "relevant interested parties" is better suited to the world of public research than the notion of "customers", which is more suited to the industrial world.

It is to be hoped, moreover, that the reduction in the documentation required for a QMS will do away with the negative image it has...
