6. Vehicles and equipment
Pursuant to paragraph 7.1.1, the transport of dangerous goods is subject to the mandatory use of specific equipment that complies in particular with the provisions of chapters :
7.2 for parcel delivery ;
7.3 for bulk transport ;
7.4 for tanker transport.
Vehicles, and in particular tanks, used to transport hazardous materials must comply with specific construction standards (structure, materials, assembly techniques, etc.), interior equipment (surge bulkheads to limit the effects of sway and inertia, shut-off devices, insulation, etc.) and service equipment, depending on the product(s) for which they are intended.
