Secondary structures for naval vessels are also made from composite materials. Although the main reason for using composite materials is to save weight, the fact remains that the specific features of each individual component of a ship are generally of a different interest to the use of composite materials. Only the economic aspect and the technical culture of builders and sailors generally stand in the way of the development and production of "all-composite" boats, as illustrated in figure 17 . This is why, depending on the priorities set by military programs, the step is often taken for only a few parts of the vessel.
