Contrainte interlaminaire/intralaminaire; interlaminar/intralaminar stress
Stress between two consecutive folds (interlaminar) or within a fold (intralaminar).
Courbe R (courbe de résistance) ; R curve (resistance curve)
Generally increasing curve of crack toughness. This increase in toughness is due to the creation of the FPZ.
Cusps (horns); cusps
The term "cusps" is generally used directly to designate the wave-like or horn-shaped asperities created on a Mode II fracture surface.
Delamination
Cracking between two consecutive plies in a composite laminate.
