4. Impact of passenger volumes on station infrastructure design and crowd management methods
The sizing of passenger facilities is fundamental in MTF to facilitate the flow of passengers and thus guarantee the frequency of circulation: width and layout of platforms, width of staircases and escalators, or that of corridors and doors.
