1. Sustainable road mobility
Road mobility is the driving force behind economic development and one of the fundamental aspects of social cohesion, as it allows everyone freedom of movement/circulation, with all its attendant benefits: easy access to a variety of jobs, public services, holidays/leisure activities and so on. Unfortunately, this freedom of movement doesn't come on its own. Agglomeration (heavy traffic), road accidents, environmental degradation and human health (figure 1 ) are also effects of road mobility.
