1. Principle of biosensors

In the case of a biosensor for pathogen detection, biological entities (enzyme, antibody, antigen, DNA, RNA, cell organelle, cell, tissue, etc.) that specifically recognize the target (virus, bacteria) are immobilized on the biosensor's solid support (figure 1 ). Thanks to the simplicity of this construction, the biosensor can identify pathogens in a very short time.
