The typology of situations can be based on the main criteria that characterize open innovation, in particular :
the intensity of interactions with the organization's environment ;
exchange themes, which can be predefined or completely open-ended;
the level of control over openness to outside organizations (selected partners or openness to all partners);
governance within the framework of rules established in co-construction ;
strategy based on the co-construction of offering concepts;
practice of the different forms and tools specific to open innovation.
