ABSTRACT

The Suez Environnement group is emphasizing the central place of its employees in the deployment of its business, and the Human Resources function is playing a key role. It is critically important for Human Resources to understand and adopt all the messages presented by their management in yearly seminars. This lessons-learned presentation describes the context and process of defining and carrying through a collaborative event, supported by software, during a recent HR seminar. It details all the activities performed and results obtained, and offers a first assessment for this organizationally innovative communication and collaboration operation in a large human group.

At a time when the Suez Environnement group emphasizes the central role played by its employees in the deployment of its activities, the human resources department plays a vital role in guaranteeing this. It is therefore critical that its professionals understand and adhere to the messages conveyed to them by their management in the annual agreements. This case study presents the context, as well as the methods used to define and implement a collaborative event supported by a software platform during an annual convention of the human resources sector. It details the actions deployed and provides information on the results achieved, as well as an initial assessment of this innovative approach to large-group communication and collaboration.
