Délisser ; Disassembly

Action of removing from a textile product, especially clothing, all hard bodies, seams or accessories that could interfere with its recycling.

Defibration; Defibering

Mechanical action used to destructure a piece of textile in order to obtain single fibers, with a preserved fiber length, that can be used in spinning.

Ecoparticipation; Eco-contribution

Also known as "ecocontribution", ecoparticipation is a fee collected by manufacturers to offset the cost of collecting and treating end-of-life waste. The sums collected are paid in full to the organizations carrying out this task.
