4. Conclusion
The textile systems found in intelligent textiles, most of which incorporate electronic devices, are known as "e-textiles". These structures permanently contain electronic components or circuits. Currently, e-textiles are made using either miniaturized conventional electronic components (diodes, transistors, integrated electronic circuits, etc.), or basic electronic components such as electrical resistors, inductors and capacitors, designed and manufactured using increasingly high-performance organic or inorganic conductive textile yarns. Various types of sensors and actuators can also be produced using e-textiles, which have the advantage of being flexible and conformable.
Several organic and inorganic dry textile electrodes for acquiring physiological signals such as ECG or EMG are presented and characterized in this article.
