4. Industrial realizations

Passive matrix displays can be found in the front panels of car radios (Pionneer, TDK...), cell phones (Motorola...) and MP3 players. In 2002, Philips introduced an electric shaver incorporating an EL polymer-based monochrome display showing battery level. Figure 37 gives a few examples of products on the market incorporating OLED displays.
