1. Wood glues
Gluing is the process of joining two or more materials by means of an adhesive joint. It is widely used in the wood industry. Successful gluing depends on :
the nature of the materials to be bonded ;
the nature of the adhesive and pressing conditions.
A good bond must be able to withstand the stresses induced in the wood by variations in humidity or mechanical stress, without any reduction in strength. The cohesive forces between the two bonded surfaces must be maintained
