2. Reminders of FPH mechanisms
Degradation of the mechanical properties of metallic materials in the presence of hydrogen gas begins with a dissociative adsorption phase: before penetrating the metal, the dihydrogen molecule adsorbs and then dissociates on the surface of the sample.
