3. Conclusion

It would appear useful to extend the scope of the "Constants in applied electrochemistry" section and, by grouping them together in a single compendium, to provide engineers and technicians who need to use them with the means to make the most of the laws and quantities characteristic of electrochemistry.

The above development forms the basis of the outline of the section, which is divided into four main parts. The first three are devoted to thermodynamics, charge transfer and material transport. The last section is dedicated to case studies and examples, selected from all areas of applied electrochemistry.
