1.1 Nickel-plating baths

Numerous baths have been developed to obtain nickel deposits that meet applicator requirements. There are four main baths, each formulated with a specific metal salt in the majority.

Generally speaking, the characteristics of these different types of baths are as follows: nickel sulfate baths 1.1.1 are the most widespread, in particular the so-called Watts bath. When organic products are added, the reflectivity of the nickel can be varied. See
