5. Aerospace applications

The electroless nickel industry has shown a keen interest in electroless nickel for many years. Its excellent functional properties and rigorous thickness consistency (even on complex-shaped parts) have justified the interest of engineers and designers.

However, this delayed the development of nickel plating, as the absolute rule in the industry is that any new process must be thoroughly tested over a long period of time. Today, it is widely used in many applications.
