2. Choice of degreasing

Choosing a degreasing solution for a given application requires a detailed assessment, taking into account :

  • requirements such as the nature of the soiling, the materials to be degreased and the surface cleanliness criteria;

  • constraints in the areas of worker and environmental protection;

  • technological options offered by different product and equipment suppliers.

We also need to prioritize.

Before describing a few possible directions, we'll briefly review the nature of surface pollutants and the importance of the substrate for degreasing.
