1. The situation

Graffiti is an inscription or painting on walls, monuments or objects in the public space.

Graffiti has been around since ancient times, and can range from simple scratch marks to elaborate paintings. They frequently express a political and social message or are reduced to a simple signature. Today, spray paint, felt-tip pens and inks have become the most widely used products. In most cases, graffiti on a vehicle without the owner's consent is considered an act of vandalism, punishable by law.

There are many different styles of graffiti. This "art" form is evolving, and photographs of these works are published on social networks. But for a transport company, the costs associated with graffiti are significant.
