2. Furnace lining study with holding channel

Based on the same electromagnetic principle as the crucible induction furnace , the channel furnace is designed to maintain (figures 8 and 9 ) the temperature of liquid metal. Its specific power is generally low, ranging from 10 kW/t to 200 kW/t, depending on the alloy. The possibility of overheating rarely exceeds 50°C/h.
