1.1 Preparation – Methods
Once the digital definition has been validated, the elements (CAD and paper drawings) are made available to the Methods Preparer. His role is to analyze the geometry of the part, its machining difficulties, its geometric or dimensional particularities, and to draw up the manufacturing range for each element.
He can either create the manufacturing routing entirely according to his own knowledge, or use a computerized system to generate the most suitable production process for each part, based on standard routings.
