As part of quality assurance, the entire chain is monitored:
RAW MATERIALS ;
molten metal ;
raw, processed and machined parts.
The inspection methods used by the manufacturer must enable the measured characteristic(s) to be determined with the precision required to guarantee compliance with the specifications of standard NF EN 1982 or other customer requirements accepted by the manufacturer.
In particular, equipment must be regularly calibrated, the frequency of calibration depending on the type of test.
