2. Gibbs phase rule for ternary systems

Throughout this article, we use the thermochemical notations and equations given in the article Equilibrium diagrams. Binary alloys, however, significant reminders will make it possible to follow the text without having to return to it frequently.

2.1 A reminder of the phase rule in metallurgy
