5. Conclusion

Examples of EBSD applications demonstrate its effectiveness in understanding the deformation, recrystallization and grain growth mechanisms involved. In fact, EBSD can simultaneously characterize the microstructure and local texture of materials on a micro-mesoscopic scale (see [M 4 138] ).
