2. Auscultation equipment

There are many different ways to carry out structural testing. In addition to the traditional approach of visual inspections, possibly accompanied by sampling, a wide variety of methods and non-destructive tests can be used to auscultate structures.

Topometric monitoring is the measurement method historically used to monitor the behavior (displacement) of a structure and/or its surroundings.
