7. Other technical aspects and calculations for structural thermal breaks

A structural thermal break is a structural and insulating element. It is designed to treat linear thermal bridges in buildings insulated from the inside or outside, but also to transmit the stresses acting in the area where it creates a mechanical break.

7.1 Other technical features of thermal bridge breakers

A thermal break consists of an insulating block made of Neopor, polystyrene or other insulating materials that block heat loss.
