5. Examples of inefficient thermal solutions

Although there are solutions that have been approved and tested for almost 40 years, there are still some bad or false solutions on the worksite which, while they may more or less comply with French standards, do not properly address the physical problem of thermal bridging.

They can be found in concrete-concrete or steel-frame connections. A few examples are shown below.
