9. Conventional usage scenarios
Usage scenarios reflect the behavior of building occupants.
Two levels of modelling are envisaged:
the overall scenario for use of the building or part of it (called a "zone") in the first instance;
secondly, a refinement of occupancy and input rates by occupants and appliances according to activities.
9.1 Zone use
RT 2012 provides for 32 general scenarios that define overall hours and durations of use, temperature levels and domestic hot water requirements.
