4. Conclusion

Developments in computing power have made the numerical determination of building facade pressures in urban environments affordable. As these are often irregular in shape, the use of simplified relationships for C p does not provide an accurate approximation of air renewal rates through natural ventilation.

Numerical computational fluid dynamics methods, such as the one developed in this article, are therefore essential for determining pressure coefficients in facades.
