The process (µ-PD) has been developed within the framework of numerous national and international research programs proposed by the CNRS, the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, the ANR, the European Union and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region.

The CNRS co-funded A. Nehari's BDI thesis. Nehari's BDI thesis, the PICS program for HEPD-Fiber Project no. 6598, the IRP program for the ScintLab project and the GIS Griffon program.

The French Ministry of Research supported the DNIPRO N23997 (2010-2012) and French-Ukrainian Science and Technical 28317ZC (2013-2014) programs, while the ANR supported the IdeaLaser, INFINHI and Crystalasfiber projects.
