For each of the 536 compounds in the table

In the second column, the most common names and radical-functional nomenclature have been used to group together certain classes of compounds, e.g. common alcohols and acids.

The Registry Number (CAS) of each compound in the Chemical Abstract enables a rapid search of databases.

The EINECS number, listed in the European Inventory of Existing Commercial Chemical Substances, also enables rapid searching and access to physical and chemical data, as well as safety and regulatory information.

A set of physical constants such as molar mass, density, boiling or melting temperatures and refractive index is given in the following columns, along with the enthalpy of vaporization of the solvent.
