14. Economic data
Most chemical technical-economic databases combine bibliographical, textual and factual information, mainly resulting from press releases and announcements. It is estimated that the data reported in these sources covers one third of public information. Despite this glaring lack of completeness, there is considerable overlap (difficult to identify) between the sources. On the other hand, statistical data, price lists and time series can be consulted. To identify suppliers of products and materials, directories and catalogs are available.
