5. Binders
Whatever pelletizing technique is chosen, the appropriate choice of pelletizing binder is a strategic and delicate step on which the success of the operation depends. This choice is still largely made empirically, based on existing know-how. However, knowledge of the classification and selection criteria for different binders, as well as binder selection methods, is useful.
