4. Maintenance and renovation procedures for external thermal insulation

Renovation work on externally insulated facings is governed by regulations published in December 2004, the "Règles professionnelles d'entretien et de rénovation des systèmes d'isolation thermique par l'extérieur – ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite System)".

These regulations only apply to thin coating-on-insulation systems.
